Nojima APAC Limited (formerly known as COURTS Asia Limited), the holding company for leading retailers — COURTS (Singapore) Pte Ltd, COURTS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, PT COURTS Retail Indonesia, and Nojima (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. — is wholly owned by Nojima Corporation, a leading electrical appliance retail chain listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
With roots as a furniture retailer from the United Kingdom, COURTS expanded its presence to Singapore in 1974 and Malaysia in 1987, before entering Indonesia in 2014.
Today, Nojima APAC operates more than 113 stores across four markets, spanning over 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail space with its latest acquisition of Thunder Match Technology Sdn Bhd (“TMT”) in Malaysia. The brand has evolved to offer a diverse range of products, including electrical and IT products, furniture, and complementary home solutions, providing customers with a comprehensive one-stop home shopping experience. Additionally, we constantly innovate to improve the shopping journey with store refresh solutions such as optimising layout, format and merchandise mix.

In Singapore, COURTS proudly operates the nation’s first Megastore, established in Tampines in 2006 under the Economic Development Board’s Warehouse Retail Scheme — an initiative aimed at transforming industrial land for commercial use. Since its launch, the Megastore has undergone continual upgrades to elevate the customer experience and now features innovative sub-brands such as Market Hall. Expanding our footprint, we introduced our second flagship store, COURTS Nojima at The Heeren, in 2021 as our latest expansion alongside our six existing shopping mall outlets and four standalone stores strategically located across the island.
The year 2024 marked a significant milestone — COURTS’ 50th anniversary. This momentous occasion brought with it a wealth of cherished memories and served as a powerful reminder of the enduring trust our customers have placed in us over the decades.
